Deeded to Group problems?

Within the last week, whenever I try to access group deeded objects, they don't respond, and under group it says Retrieving.... I have my group tag on, but still can't get it to work. Even the land when I hover over it says retrieiving.... is there a way around this, so I can actually watch movies and change the radio? Any help would be appreciated!

I tried deeding a radio to a group once. It was the group that all renters had to join. After I deeded the radio it became no modify and I couldn't take it back or return it to myself. The radio worked though. It's strange that I was allowed to go into the media tab and change the music stream but the scripted radio could not unless it was deeded. I'm not aware of any workaround.

By deeding a prim it changes its owner.
Some scripts may lose permissions and functuions in the process.
And even if the script is still full perm it may not recognize a group member as an owner anymore. Some group functions are still poorly implemented.

For example a security orb,radio or television once "deeded" to group must be taken back to personal ownership to make any changes.

This is the same for any group deeded objects I have come across.

Scripts don't have any special group permissions assigned to them.

Your ability to change the media tab on group-deeded land for instance comes from the group permissions, but those don't apply to scripts (except in a few cases where the script will run under your group permissions when you're on the sim but then breaks a few minutes after you leave).

As a result the owner of the script has to match the land owner, which in this case is a group so it has to be deeded in order to work.

That's what "Share with Group" is for (on the inventory item, not the containing prim). Editing notecards and scripts inside group-deeded objects works fine that way (provided you didn't get the "Next owner can" permissions wrong when you deeded it).

The problem is, it was working last week with no problems. This week, it isn't responding at all. Should have added more info, sorry about that lol, but yeah, it was working a week ago with no problem. after the weekend, things stopped working that were deeded to group.
