I can make scads of money. This is just brilliant. I'll move into a new sim, buy land at dirt cheap prices, build the most obnoxious eyesore I can possible think of, then put the land on sale for twice what I paid for it. I'll make a mint!

Yeah, this would make the fourth time I've moved. I don't mind too too horribly; I've yet to take a loss on a land sale. It's just sort of pointless, ya know?
An island might be a good idea, I'm just not the "build a conventional house" kind of player. I'd love to find a privately owned sim full of scripter/tinkerers.

When I see sims like Laserlight it makes me glad I was an early adopter to SL. Exactly how many For Sale signs does one plot need? The build in question was actually cute in an elves on crack way.

sometimes the idea is not to get you to buy it (to stop the annoyance) but to leave, so THEY can buy it... solution: mega invisi-prim screens, to block the ugliness (cost a few prims and minutes) right click object, mute, to stop particles ( cost a few seconds ) quietly laughing at them because they no longer bother your sight  riceless =)

From: Okiphia Rayna invisiprims only work if they have alphas however...so not always works not true, they should preform occlusion culling as well, as long as you parcel is completely walled in, or the mega covers the offending prims with more than enough gap at the edges, it'll block even non alpha'd textures... and unfortunately land at a cetain distance
