What is the UUID of a picture and where will I find it?

Press your right mouse button on a snapshot or texture in your inventory and select 'Copy Asset UUID' from the menu. This will copy the UUID into your clipboard, ready for pasting.

I'v done that bit, but I'm not to good with computers, I'm trying to load a product into a vendor could someone please talk me through how to get the UUID from my clipboard

If you're trying to add this information to a notecard, once you have copied the UUID, all you have to do is hold down CTRL and then press V.

Here's a link to shortcut keys for use in many Windows programs:

SL doesn't use too many of those, but that page has some good stuff to know for other programs.

You can also paste text into a notecard in SL from the Edit menu: Edit/Paste.

On my SL the control keys that work as shortcuts for menu items in SL are shown on the right side of the menus. A way to learn to is to find what you want to do in the menus, then close the menu and use the control key. Eventually when you want to do a particular function you will start remembering the shortcut keys.
