Seemingly borked inventory folders issue

The other day, I noticed that I had a few folders that were now OUTSIDE of my inventory folder in addition to the Library folder. Three product folders I had picked up I think that day.

I cannot move them back into the inventory folder (I get the circle with the slash through it when I try to drag and drop). If I try and drag the contents of the folder to another folder inside my inventory folder, the viewer crashes instantly.

I cannot delete them (delete is ghosted as an option). I tried clearing cache and reloading and that had no impact.

I have over 25k in my inventory, much of it related to building and my business. I really really really don't want to lose anything valuable

P.S. Related to this, are there any upper limits, hard or advised, on inventory?

Do a support ticket. There have been several JIRAs in the past about folders going weird and they usually need to get a TechoLinden to fix it.

AFAIK, there really aren't any limits to how much inventory you can have.

I took my shoes off from 2 ouftits I have been wearing over the last 2 days and thought they were gone forever... after looking in my objects folder i found them there. Think the asset server having a hic cup again... also noticed a lot my IMs i received not being saved to email and today they now seem to be coming thru.

ok, having no real limit to amount of inventory, anyone have any idea on whether it increases your lag or crash factor as you drag around an exponentially increasing inventory? i'd be loathe to admit that the OP's inventory count is but a mere pittance alongside my own before i deleted 20%, and after as well...

so i'm not admitting it.
