Trading limits apply during the first days since your first billing transaction with Linden Lab. You will have to wait for 2 days to buy L$ for up to $50.

All the details are found here: http://secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php

PS: Don't buy from one of the shadier outfits. This may get your account locked.

You don't *need* to credit your account first...if this is the first time you've tried to purchase Lindens, doing that extra step is what caused you to hit your limit.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

The day count governing the trading limits starts on the day of the first billing transaction, i.e. in this case obviously where the USD account is credited ... in other words: today!

As the OP wrote: "just credited my U$ balance..."

Consequently the USD 10 trading limit applies for the next 2 days. It's all explained on the website I referenced above.

So I am afraid you'll have to be patient, Locke. Sorry! :o
