Is deleting your xstreetsl box(s) the best way to deactivate all items from xstreetsl. I'm moving all my items to metalife & slapt.me and the day before they make these changes where they start ripping us off, I mean charging more to have our items on xstreetsl, I want to be quick to delete ALL my items. Thanks for the input

Well I thought it I found it, that you have to click all the items you want deactivated, then apply, then delete them out of your box. it doesn't work, I guess I have to do it one by one? With almost 500 things, I'll be sitting here for a day doing this

Yep, they don't want easy deletion when they're gonna start charging fees on things.
Pink keeps promising that inactive listings won't be charged, but with LL seeing $ signs, it's more likely they will be. _____________________

I simply removed all my magic boxes from in world, removed them from xstreet and I am leaving it at that, no way I am going through a list of over 750 items to delete them

Quote from Colossus Linden in the Flogs
Will the L$10 monthly listing fee apply to inactive items? A number of merchants have asked if they will simply need to deactivate items or if they will need to delete them to avoid this charge. We have not yet designed this system. I implore our merchants to refrain from deleting their items before we have defined and announced how this system will work. We do not want you to have to do any more work than necessary. We have not yet fully designed this system, but it is our hope that we can design it in such a way that the fee will only apply to active items. It is our goal & expectation that inactive items will not be charged the fee. Once I can guarantee that, I will let everyone know. ************************************************************************* So there ya go.. They don't even know.. It's either you chance it and are scrambling the day it all takes effect or you do it now.. You have to delete each listing one at a time. It SUCKS. but it's LL.. _____________________

Pink Linden has posted on the Flog that the charge will not be applied to deactivated items. Of course, this was after I had spend hours deleteting items one by one! It's mad on XStreet right now - I guess the site is being hit with so many updates that it's struggling along. Even afer deleting an entry, you may have to wait quite a while before the change shows in your inventory listing.

Dont trust what Pink has said about not being charged the 10L for each item... they have gone back on what they say to many times and I dont think anyone wants to be hit with a supprise bill for thier listing. |
