I've had my music play on for 10 seconds or so after I log off before,no big problem. I logged off an hour ago to work in photoshop. I went to log on again and noticed that my music was still playing softly in the background.I've got the box on and didn't notice it,Logged on and the music came up full power. So the music had been playing for an hour, strange, any body had this happen? edit ..just got shoved offline and my music is still playing now full bore !!!

Music streams are not actually part of the SL client, other than to connect you to the url.
It uses your Windows internal player. When you logged out, it wasn't disconnected.
It happens.

One of the viewer versions has a bug where the viewer might not quit entirely when you have left a stream running, I remember once finding three copies still running in processes. If you stop any streams first it won't happen, otherwise you can simply stop them in the Task Manager instead of having to restart... Adding, here's one of the Jira's if you want to add your L$6? http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9577

Basically, if you use the standard viewer, you HAVE to verify it has quit with the Task Manager or else you will find yourself with 3+ SL applications running and wondering why your screen is turning black.
