I just had to make my monthly call to re-authorize my credit card after an LL charge flagged it for fraud, rendering it useless for anything else I might want to use it for. This time I was given a reason: it was an international charge. Made in London.
I thought LL had fixed this and was now billing Americans through an American bank. Did I just imagine reading that?

It's still happening on and off. Advice from the Knowledge Base is to delete and reenter your payment information.

Having a paypal debit card is really great for SL since they have no problems transferring and money and taking charges from LL.

I was charged foreign transaction fees on my PayPal debit card when I had to use it for a while after LL borked my regular PayPal account somehow.
This was before they reestablished a California bank.
