Hi all,

I placed a land/property rental ad in the classifieds but I cannot seem to find it. I searched by ad title, but to no avail. Paid L$201 for it. I know its not alot but I should still be able to find it, right?

Can somebody give me a hint as to where it might be.

Thanks.

When exactly did you place the ad?

I did one yesterday. I thought maybe I made a mistake so I did another one today.

When you use 'Search' to find your ad, do you have the Mature Content box checked? It's right under the search bar. Your ad wont appear in the search if the ad is marked MATURE and your search does not have MATURE CONTENT checked.

Also, it doesn't always appear immediately, (not sure).

I will try that, however, I am in a PG mainland sim. Even if it doesn't take right away, I should have been able to find the one from yesterday, right?

First of all go to your own profile, click on classifieds, and see if it's listed there.

If your ad isn't showing there the system hasn't received it, in which case check your transaction logs to see if you were deducted any L$ for the ad.

Both of the ads are in my profile. I'll try to search for my ads again.

I found my ads but only after typing in more than just one keyword. If I couldn't find it how will anybody else?

That's what the new search is for, I guess.

Ad title should work and you can revise your advert so play around with the words and descriptions on one of them to see if you increase visibility.

Land rentals are quite a specific section so people searching for rentals tend to filter by land rental, that's been my experience anyway.

What keywords were you hoping they would use?

for rent
waterfront
512

If I mention that it is a 512 parcel in my title, then shouldn't it pop up in the search. Granted it might be at the bottom since I did not pay that much for the ad, but it should still come up, right?
