I went to a store on the Isle of Ecstasy today, and the person who builds for the owner was harrassing and assaulting customers by setting off bombs which he made. On open public chat he mentioned that if it was "pissing off customers it was doing its job." When I asked him if that was a bit hard on customers, he declared, "I could care less. If you don't like it, leave." He then proceeded to call me an ugly bitch and shot me with a scripted object; then banned me from the parcel. In a follow-up IM, he continued to verbally insult me, and informed me there was no point in letting the store owner know, because he could log in as her. I attempted to notify the owner of what had transpired, and the builder proved he could log in as the owner by IM'ing me under the owner's name and telling me to go f*** myself.

I just wonder what the other store owners renting in that area think about that type of treatment toward a customer. I have abuse reported the gentleman, even though he informed me that the Lindens wouldn't do a thing about it.

Dunno that place...

This is an island? If there's more than one store, I probably would have done the World->Estate menu and checked the estate owner in the popup. If it's not one of the people you dealt with, the estate owner probably wouldn't mind knowing about this.

Let the land owner know in a brief IM--other than that, sounds like a lost cause, and not a place you want to have Sunday tea at.

its either the owner being a dick or someone has hacked into thier account, either way i would send an AR ASAP, and try to get intouch with the island OWNER.

I would AR them. It sounds like one way or another the owner's password has been compromised.

Never heard of the place, but I don't think it's even needed to ask if it is the proper way to treat customers, because we all know it's not.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I followed your advice and have IM'd the island owner(s) about the incident. I really appreciate everyone's help.

I got a group IM last night, indicating the possibility that a number of accounts had been hacked and the perps were using them to spread grief and dissent. This might be part of that.
