Will a 32m X 32m foot print, fit on a 1024 lot? I don't know how to figure out the relationship between meters and the acutal plot size.

If your 1024 lot is exactly square, it will (as the square root of 1024 is 32). However, your 32x32m footprint building will cover all of the lot from border to border. If the lot is not exactly square, you will need more land.

That sounds big to me....but I have no basis for saying this I believe my house is something like that size but I have 3072 m of land. Then again, the house leaves lots of room for other things outside...

How-ever, from what you're telling me, the house I'm considering would be touching the rear and front property lines. I guess I'll have to pass on the building I'm considering.

Hi Carolyn
Be sure to check out the prim count, 117prims/512sm so with effectively 3 512 blocks you are allowed a total of 351 prims. Since you probably want some furniture and garden stuff you probably want to stay below 150 or so for your house.

Your best bet is probably to build a footprint to test with.
Just 3 ten metre cubes plus a 2 metre one in each direction (well, I am sure you guessed that, heh)
Then shove your footprint about to see if it fits nicely.
