/me just noticed that the new LL blog stuff now has all the old blog posts searchable. For long while, it was just new blog posts that were searchable.

The 2 terms I've search on more times than any others are 'Xeon' for the class 5 announcement and 'Proximity' for the no-age-play rules.
If I search the blog for either of these it now finds the old, pre-horrible-software, blog posts. edit: /me also tries searching for Cory and it finds all his old blog posts, too... _____________________

You must be seeing a special, not fully-released version of Blog search. When I search for "Proximity", without the quotes, I get 9 hits, all in the new Blog. Nothing else. Where are you initiating this search?
Or perhaps I simply misunderstood you? I had thought the FORUMS were searchable via the Blog search, as a preperation for forcing us to use their inadequate Blog-based "Discussions" as a replacement for these forums. If you meant that only a subset of the Blog itself had been searchable, and now that is fixed, that may well be so. I rarely bother searching the Blog, as their search has worked so poorly in the past. _____________________

Where are you initiating this search? /me also gets 9 results.. The oldest is dated Feb 2007 which is well before they started using the new & evil blog software. I was saying that the content from the previous blogware is now in there and searchable. _____________________

It's been searchable for quite a while, actually. I've used it to find a number of old posts, especially ones regarding copybot.
