Okay I wasn't having this problem before, and I don't know what started it, but my viewer is playing no sounds what so ever. Not even streaming music. I've checked forums, knowladge base, everything I could think of and couldn't find what I need. I've tried switching viewers! I'm a DJ, this is bad for me. I am using Vista if that helps any. Thank you!~

I had that for a while, and a cache clear and reboot fixed it.

Nope, that doesn't fix my problem. Thanks though!

I was going to suggest that you might benefit by starting a new thread, given the title, but after starting this sentence I realized that someone might solve the problem, in which case the thread title would make sense, so I suppose I will not make that suggestion. If you haven't done so already, I suggest turning your computer all the way off, not just a reset, but leaving it without power at all for at least a few seconds. Sometimes one can have a hardware malfunction that stops when the power is removed. You might try, since it's easy, doing a complete uninstall of SL, in addition to clearing your cache. Possibly delete your settings.xml if needed. It's possible your sound card driver has become corrupted. Reinstalling the existing sound card driver might fix that. One might remove the sound card device from System Device and restart the computer to start the hardware detection process. I've looked at so many SL versions I can't keep straight in my head what the properties of the current version is, but some versions of the SL viewer have a "Mute All" option, I believe. If yours has such a function make sure it's not checked.
You should do a search in the Second Life Wiki and in the Second Life Knowedge Base, if you haven't already, and also Google around for "Second Life" "no sound" and such things as that.

Yes, I had no idea the title wouldn't change twice, curse the forums! As I've said, I've looked everywhere, forums, wiki, etc. Couldn't find anything similar. I've tried the computer shutdown and turn on which hasn't worked. Going to try some of your other suggestions and pray that they work! Thank you!

In this case, if you haven't do so already, you might want to start a different thread in the technical forum with a different title. I think some technically inclined folks might read that forum and not this one.
Have you searched the Jira?
Also - might as well file a support ticket if you are able to for such a reason.
Also - sign up with sluniverse.com and post in their forums. Same for other third party forums. If you have a blog, make a post about the problem. Put this problem in your signature here, some might see it while looking at a post of yours in another thread.
Can't hurt to describe your computer system, type of sound card, version of sound card driver, etc.
