I have a tattoo question. I am making a tattoo as a prim. When I put the texture in a prim and i make the prim flat to attatch on my body the sidelines of the prim is black... Is their a way to make this go away?
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help! You'll find a ton of info on this in the Texturing Tip forum, search for alpha.

I think I know what you need
You need to use the 'Select Texture' at the top of the edit window, this way you can change the outer sides of the prim and make them alpha, the select texture allows you to change individual sides of the prim, making them all different

Stoffe,
Make the edges of the prim transparent. It may be easier to make the whole prim transparent first, and then use Select Textures to add your tatoo image to only one face.
Note: The "transparency" setting in the Edit menu will not make something totally invisible. You need to either apply a fully transparent alpha texture to it, or drop a transparency script inside the prim's content tab. Your Library has a transparent texture you can use.
But...why make a tattoo on a prim? Prim attachments are notorious for moving, relative to where you want them to be, when your body changes position. This is why tattoos are normally either painted directly on the skin texture, or (much more commonly) made in one of the clothing layers.

Thanks for all the answers. I think I have enough on it now to fix it. The way I don't make it in a clothing layer or as a texture is because the tattoo is wanted on one arm only...
Greets! And thanks for the fast answers!
