Amongst all the other borked things going on lately, I keep getting this message on my land that says something to the effect that my Butterfly rezzer can't be moved because it's not allowed on the neighboring parcel. I'm NOT trying to move the Butterfly Rezzer. In fact, I'm never anywhere near the damn thing when it tells me this. I can be 40 meters away sitting on my deck, and I get the message. It isn't near the property line either. Between this, my Avi walking through walls and floors and a myriad of other problems. I'm getting pretty fed up

It could be that someone else is using it at the time - It would send the object owner the notice rather than the person using/moving it.

I dont know which kind of butterfly rezzer you have but the ones that I have seen on my sims used by tenants caused massive performance issues (LAG) on the sim. That might explain why you are walking into walls and such. It may be fine with not many people on the sim but if you add several avatars with all the AO's, huds, flexi, and scripted objects that come with them your sim might be suffering. Rezzing 1 might be fine...but I just bet you have several placed about your area. If you have the ability to look at the regions total scripted objects and the amount of time they are using I will almost guarentee that the butterfly rezzers will be at the top of the list. I know they are pretty but if the lag induceing rezzers make you walk into walls like a dork in front of your friends....
try removing them and see if the lag improves.
As far as the message you are getting it might be the fact that the rezzed butterfly is crossing into a ajoining parcel that has the options to allow objects and scripts to enter not allowed. Again move them closer to the center of your land an make sure that they dont travel outside your land.

Yes, the butterflys might be moving over my neighbors parcel, now that you mention it. I have 3 of them in my yard and the problem didn't start until I added the last 2. And for that matter, I didn't notice such bad lag on my land until recently either (although the walking through walls, floors and land is EVERYWHERE I go, not just at home). I'm going to try deleting the rezzers first and see if that improves things. If so, I'll try adding back the one I purchased at Zoobies first, and place it in the middle of the parcel, and see if I can manage with that one alone. The other 2 were freebies and don't look as good, and I can live without those.

Not sure what it is suppose to do but if I remember right don't Butterflies fly? Does this one move itself like a physical object? There are prim objects when they are physical do move all by themselves. If you can see if you can turn of physical in object tab.

I think the message was saying the "rezzer" itself was trying to move tho not the butterflies. I'll have to check this when I get home but I think removing the entire lot of them might make sense at this point, as Eyerocker suggested.

Well there was recently that post about furnitue moving itself around. Personally, I think the SL Gremlins are just getting more active - maybe LL isn't feeding them well enough or something.
