uhh..logging me out after an hour?

I logged out of SL properly about an hour ago..probably more actually, and havent logged into it or anything connected since. Now I try to log in and it says
The system is logging you out right now.
Your account will not be available until (insert increasing time every attempt)
Now.. i know it often gets angry at people, but why would it do this if I logged out properly, didn't crash..and its been this long!?

When you log out your attachments are uploaded back to the asset server, if that process stalls/hangs for any reason your account will be "ghosted" because it's waiting on the pending save. Since it's the sim that is responsible for saving simulated objects back to the asset server, your logoff can seem to be fine for you, but actually hang for the sim. --- The land owner of where you're stuck can "force tp home" (or an alt of yours if it has the land rights), or they can reset the sim if it's on a private sim, or you can put in a ticket and then a Linden would "force tp" you when they get to the ticket. Both ways will release your account after a few minutes. |

Ill try support, thanks! If they resolve it as fast as my requests for a normal sim restart, you should be fine in a few minutes....

does your char have any kind of anti push shield on?
if not then maybe someone (or an alt) can push you into the next sim since it is on mainland
that might help

that might help I've been to where it should be on an alt and..shes nowhere to be seen anyway. Plus the land shes on is push restricted...if that really matters

I'm finding SL unusable tonight. Sim crossings, teleporting, inventory, group chat, all borked. Maybe the crew has more problems to deal with than usual.
They may be on skeleton crew owing to it being Xmas time.
