Hello, I lost my inventory and I took all the nesscary steps to complete the task and try to recover my items. I had tried everything how can I get a linden to respond to me and refresh my database, this isnt the first time Ive lost multiple inventory items this is the sec or 3rd time. The time I lost over 8,000+ items. Or should th whole database b refreshed in th MG in total. I would just like to recover all the items in my inventory cause it seems like a waste or time money and effort and makes me dislike SL. So I just need my stuff recovered any help would be appreciated.
yup I submitted a help tickt and did everything to try and recover my items. I think it needs refreshing on my database though.
I ve been in SL for like 2-3 months just got here, on th forums that is

From: CodeZero Bulloch did everything to try and recover my items It helps everyone if you can list the things you actually tried and be a bit more descriptive than "lost inventory" (there are a few different kinds) . From the amount (8000+ items) I'd guess you're seeing incomplete or empty folders? If that's what you're encountering: tp over to a Linden water sim (Hahne is good, or Kara - the point is to be on an utterly empty stable sim), clear cache (Edit / Preferences - Network - Clear Cache) and relog. Open your inventory and either click on "Recent Items" or type something random in inventory search and wait until the "xxx Fetched" dissapears. Make a note of the total amount of items and if it still looks like you're missing things (but again, how you lost them makes a big difference) rinse and repeat a few times. If the numbers of inventory items keeps rising, rinse and repeat until they're stable. If you already cleared cache but you didn't actually relog on a different sim then it's normal that didn't help. If the sim is acting up, relogging back onto it won't do you any bit of good. (And if you're getting constant spikes of packet loss then you're suffering from a different problem altogether)

Kitty's advice is absolutely correct. While your inventory is loading, don't do anything else -- just stand still. Your inventory may load very slowly, so be prepared for a bit of SL boredom.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Try crossing a sim. Not tp-ing...but actually walking across a sim border. Sometimes...sometimes...that manages to kick the asset server in the head.

I find tp-ing or logging in a perfect opportunity to go make a coffee

Besides trying these recovery tricks, and filing a Help ticket, fill out the Inventory Loss survey (see about four or five articles down in the Linden blog for a link).
