1)on sim version 1.20.1.85 162.

2)land is group owned.

3)create objects & object entry & run scripts is on for ALL residents and GROUP, with autoreturn set to one minute for others objects.

4)agent arrives on land.

5)agent is not a group member of the land or land owner.

6)agent rezzes five one prim objects under their current group "Legendary Covenant".

7)land owner turns off create objects & object entry & run scripts for ALL residents except GROUP & sets autoreturn to ZERO before objects get returned and leaves it all off for 5 minutes, then turns create objects & object entry & run scripts for ALL residents back on & autoreturn set to one minute.

8)the agents objects do not autoreturn after one minute.

9)about land tab shows others objects as zero, but "refresh list" shows the five one prim objects owned by the agent.

10)checking the agents objects show the objects group as "Legendary Covenant".

11) objects can be returned manually.

i seem to recall not having this problem prior to the sim update to 1.20.1.85 162.

PS: i still get the llTargetOmega bug (rotations stopping)

If you change your active group to something other than Legendary Covenant, do the non-group prims still show that or do they change to match your current group? That's been a bug for a while - months - and is pretty annoying.

I've suspected that autoreturn has been acting weird lately but any time I try to catch it misbehaving, it wises up and does the right thing.

I was talking to sidewinder earlier today about the fix for that, he said he is hoping it will go out soon, just a waiting game now for everyone to get in sync with each other
(this update was not a fix for the rotations stopping bug)

Check the "Selected / Sat Upon" count before and after rezzing the prims. If the "Selected" count increased by the number of prims rezzed then you found the reason ("Selected" prims are exempt from auto-return).

The new sim update was supposed to fix the "showing as selected" bug. It wouldn't be that much of a suprise if they made it worse instead.

well, i tried that.
rezzed a box with a different group tag activated, sat on it for a minute, got up and after a minute it gone the way of autoreturn.
also tried selecting and editing it for one minute, box disappeared during the selection.
pretty weird.
