Money transfer denied, request timed out

Hi community

I'm sure everyone of you got that message one time or the other. But maybe you didn't recognize, if you tried to pay a scripted object, the amount you payed is actually debited from your account, despite what the blue pop up says. And of course, the scripted object doesn't recognize it was payed.

Is anyone of you aware of a Jira entry, one I found matching is:

I would like to encourage you to vote on the issue, maybe there is another Jira entry that is more to the point. But I seem to be too silly to search the database

As for searching the Jira ... I tend to get lost in there. But I'll see if I can find any other post similar to that one.

I was seeing this yesterday. I was playing a Streetz game. This game was setup to be "freeplay" where you pay $1L and game pays the $1L back to you and starts.

I was getting the message "transfer denied.....request was stale", I don't remember the exact wording. Anyway, the $1L still got deducted from my balance. Being that it was only $1L I didn't give it to much thought.

That "transfer denied/request stale" used to be a lot more common in the past, but I don't remember it ever deducting the money. I guess this maybe a new twist to an old SL quirk.

Thank you for the heads-up. I often forget to look at my balance before purchasing an item, so I would be a prime unknowing 'victim'. I'd probably just try again without realizing my money had gone through twice.
