I had to reinstall the SL client (clean) and I totally forgot how to turn off the "away" sign for poping up, I was sure it is somewhere is debug?? but.. doh! You know... memory is the first to go...

Advanced > Character > Character Tests > Go Away/AFK when Idle .. is that what you mean?
