People tell me I need to put information and a picture in my profile. I want to do this now.
I know how to take a snap shot of myself in SL but how do I get this into my profile?

Edit menu, Profile - then just drag the picture there to that grey blank area where the pic goes.

Take the picture and literally drag it from your inventory into the blank space on your profile for the picture. Its $10L to upload the picture into your inventory and a snapshot or a texture works just fine.  You update the profile by right clicking yourself, selecting profile, and type away! Hope that helps.
