My friend just created a brand spanking new account but she can't log in.
She's getting an error message, something like 'we cannot process your request at this time blah blah'.
Her account is active but she can't get in, any ideas?

I had a problem last night with this. I could not log-in for an hour or so... other than wait, I am not sure what to suggest.
Might want to reset your router and modem, reboot your pc, do a little dance around your desk... At least it will keep you entertained.. .d |

Did she check her spam folder? Sometimes the activation emails end up there. And apparently Hotmail doesn't get along with SL either...those emails just evaporate or something.

It might have something to with firewalls and security software which needs to be told it's ok to let the UI connect to the outside world.
