Can anyone advise why my IM's to email have suddenly stopped working? I have the option checked in preferences and also on the SL website. This has only happened since last week, the last IM from a friend being dated 11th January. The strange thing is that I still receive IM's from groups, but not individuals. Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks in advance for any help Last time I had this happen, I had a hotmail account. Changing to another email service fixed it. I recommend Gmail.

I've been receiving both group and individual IM's so apparently it's not a universal problem.

Thanks, Natasha I did not ever figure out why they stopped. I just changed (at the time to a fastmail.fm account) and never looked back. The good thing about changing is you don't have to bother to tell anyone since you can use it only for this purpose so no one needs to know the address. It's possible LL changed something in the code of the emails that goes out and hotmail no longer recognizes them. Did you check your junk mail?
