Any time I try to log in, i am like 10 feet underwater in the middle of nowhere. It wont allow me to move or TP or even chat or search. basically my avatar is frozen, except i can rotate the avatar, but that's all. No one shows up online and no one is on the map.after about 5 mins or so, i will be logged out automatically. This has happened to me before, but i am usually able to get out after relogging... but it's not working! how do I fix this?

Clear your cache and reset your router and modem. If that does not do it then manually delete your cache folder. You can find the location of the folder on your computer by looking at the location box just below the clear cache button on the network tab in preferrences.

Check your nvidea card - that happened to me once and I blew up.

if you are on wireless plug in and go wired. Sounds like what I call Red Sim Syndrome. A partial disconnect (mini map sim will look red), it will eventually become a full disconnect and dump you out of SL time varies from 5-10 minutes. THis could be a network issue on your end OR on LL's. Used to happen alot to me back in 2005-2006 and then it was usually LL.  still happens occasionally. |
