Yesterday voice started going odd- mine kept turning itself on, and I don't have a microphone hooked up- people around me heard my ui sounds- assorted clicks and beeps ...
But what is super strange is we hear someone, a girl at her computer- started for sure this morning. Now i'm in New York and my girlfriend is in Texas yet we hear the same person at her computer, southern girl- husband we assume and kids still asleep .... hear her typing, a few sighs- keyboard clicking.
Anyone else hear what i'd call "voice bleed"?
(BTW) no one on the sim but us)

plus, my voice isn't connected (I have a yellow indicator). Plus, even if i disable voice in preferences, I can still hear her

Ok partial mystery solved- bug persists ...
Since it started on a help island- we went back there and sure enough the girl was still logged in mic open.

if you have record all (or what I hear) (XP or Vista) then people will hear everything that you hear on your PC
some monitors, webcams, speakers and pc's have built in mics that folks are not aware of.
might want to check those things.
I have had voice activate on it's own from time to time (yes voice can be weird sometimes)

depending on configuration, voice can also default to using the system sound card, rather than a mic, which will play all sounds that user hears coming from their speakers (including repeats from other users with voice)

ok, now i have a TV or radio station from Panama, talking about the presidential candidate Ricardo Martinelli, coming in over Voice. nobody on the sim but me and Dragger, and I don't even have Voice enabled in preferences
