Ok this is really annoying me now I am working on the notecard of businesses. I am trying to drop a landmark into it and save, but its not working! I will drop it in, save it. Then it goes black like normal but i should be able to open it again. It is coming up with an error message: unable to upload 6c96a4d4-2205-5440-1769-9f0875350bf3 due to the following reason: Error in upload request. Please visit http://secondlife.com/support for help fixing this problem. Please try again later. What is happening? When i close the notecard and open it from inventory it is the same as if i never added anything. also, the number changes but the error message stays the same. im gonna leave it for now, but sould someone give me some advice on what to do please? Thankyou  xxClairexx

Yep, server, I finally had to email all my textures for the clothes I'm making for a fashion show tomorrow (yes, I waited to the last minute, so sue me, no wait, don't  ) to my partner to upload for me, because I couldn't upload a daggum thing due to that lovely "error" ..... *sigh* It's SL, not you, Claire |

This was happening to me all day Saturday, trying to do bulk uploads or save notecards and I would get the error, then be unable to even open the upload screen or the save button on the notecard would be grayed. With the bulk uploads, I ended up having to log off after every failure (since the screen wouldn't open again). When I logged back in and did each upload separately and slowly, it worked. With the notecards I just saved it right after I added a landmark or other attachment, every time.
It seems I get the errors the most when I'm on the very last upload I need to complete a project...or maybe thats just when I remember it the most, because it's so frustrating.

Something I find very helpful,
is to compose the notecards in Word or notepad
any off world word proccesor will do just fine, AND it lets you spell check!
You can cut and paste it into a new notecard and not fear having lost any real work!!
some light formatting might be needed but you dont have to redo everything
to paste in Windows its control+V

stupid Q about bulk uploads.... how to do it? I'm only allowed to select one texture at a time out of my folders, even using the shift key. What am I doing wrong?

I have been getting the same error for several days now. Like many other creators I have just stopped creating for now.. To many hours wasted on builds I cannot pick up to save, scripts I cannot save, objects I cannot rez and if I keep trying lose..
I just logged in to find my self ruthed, unable to access inventory or tp.. Relogged to find the same thing.. Not much point in having SL open, if you cannot do anything while you are there.

From the drop down File menu, click bulk upload then hold the Control key when selecting them....lately I usually only get 1 or 2 in before it sends an error, but usually can be a good way to save time.

I do know that in the past, copying text including landmarks from one notecard to another caused that exact error. which made editing complex cards a problem. had to copy everything, edit, remove all the landmarks, and other assorted linked items, then reinsert linked items from inventory

Well I copied the info (not including LMs) into notepad. It was just easier to work with. So then I copied everything into the notecard which was fine. Now i go to drag and drop each LM into place and it is having none of it. Oh it has saved one, but all of the others i keep getting the error message. I've given up for now. I am going to try again when I get back in world on Thursday. All fingers and toes crossed it will work.

Yesterday we found a solution to the parcel problems we were facing (my land was going double-prim, hence becoming too expensive for me) so we did a very quick move. The new parcel is far from ready, but the shop is set up! Now I just have to try and finish my decorating of the parcel before your shopping spree starts Good luck with the notecard, Marcel |
