Name Change?

How can I get a name change?

Oh you poor thing. You need one. You have to make a new avatar, an alt. As is clearly stated when you are choosing your name, they ask you ARE YOU SURE?? Because, you can't change it later. I don't know how you even remember this one.

Hey! I like my name thank you very much! Lol. Just thinking I need something new, especially since not only on here but other 3D sites I have had people copycat the name and my costumers end up contact them and then asking me why I never replied. I do have this name trademarked which is one reason I'm thinking of not changing it but it would be nice to have something of my own that resembles no other word, like speak.

I've also put a lot of money into this account and a lot of cloths are not transferable. I have heard people have changed their names before, but for a fee. Don't know where I would find the info to do that though.

As far as I know, and from replies others have gotten who ask the same question....you can't change your name. That's why you're asked if you're sure when first signing up. You can transfer anything that's transferrable to another avi, but those things that don't transfer can't go to anyone else.

Oh, sorry. Yeah, there is a way to do it, to buy a 'vanity name' I think it's called, like, for example, Yoko Ono uses her RL name on SL, because she paid the fee to do that. I also have no idea where to find that info.......hopefully someone will chime in to help, good luck!

As others have said, there is no way at the moment to change your av name but you could create another account, transfer over items that you are able to and retain this one as perhaps a strictly business avatar.
