Dance animations into AO?

I have the Outrider AO that comes with the ZAHO or ZAOH or whatever it is (I'm not in-world so can't check the exact name). Is there a way to play dance animations through it? How would I put them into the notecard (like, what would their category name be)? Will they link one right after the other after one loop of each has completed?

If you have a ZHAO you can put dance animations in as stands and set the play time. They will cycle through either in sequence or in random order depending on the option you set.

You could upgrade to a Huddles EZ Animator and put your Outrider AO animations and note card into the Huddles. If you are serious about how you like your dances to blend together, Huddles is the way to go.

Are dance animations generally the same length time-wise, like 30 seconds, or do they vary quite a bit?

Yes. If your AO is mod and the setting notecard inside it is also mod.

Just Rez the Ao to the ground and add the animations. Then make a copy of the notecard, rename it, edit in the dances names where needed.
Most likely you will have to replace some of the stands with the dances.
Since you now have two notecards in your AO you can now load one or the other.

This can be risky. Watch permissions, it is very easy to create a "no copy" and easy to lose, expencive to replace toy.

I think dances and most animations vary by creator and most AOs just run thru a list at a preset time. Zaoh has a way to change the time in the menu dialog thing. It's not super flexible, but helps some.
