I want to change my home to a different area other than what I chose when I started, but whenever I try to it says I have to at an infohub but I don't understand how going to an infohub would help. I don't know will someone just give me some insight on how to change my "home". Thanks.

Going to an infohub helps because the infohubs are specially marked to allow anyone to set their homes there.
To set your home to a private parcel, you need to own it or belong to a group that gives you privileges to set home there.

There are many groups that very open to having people join the group and set home there.
Two that come to mind are Caledon Oxbridge and NCI.
(And once you've set home, you can leave the group - your home position will stay set. But both the above are very helpful, informative groups to belong to.)
