Hey guys,

have you ever come across a place that made you think "why is this place not on the showcase...", then looked at the "showcase submission form" and then thought "why the heck to they need my grandmothers maiden name???"

anyways, here's a slurl: Metal Otaku Hunt.
There's this humunguous robot-like thingie, and you have to find ten small boxes, and when you have them all you get a cool prize... the build as such is seriously cool looking and the boxes are WELL hidden...

and no i am not affiliated with whoever owns that place, other than the fact that it is within minimap distance from home and stands out on the map quite a bit.

I have not tried any treasure hunts yet, but I hear about them in the Forum Cartel group IM banter. Are they really fun? Maybe that's something fun to do as a group.

Here's a couple of eye-candy sims I like. The landmark I made is at a marvelous bridge that reflects in the water due to building a reversal of it underwater. It's a cool effect that is maybe old news, but it's the first I ever noticed:

Isle of Jade - Snow Drop Palace, prodigiosus II (36, 236, 21) or

Okay, my weekend update (yeah, I know it's already midweek).

Anyway as we're talking eye-candy sims, I hacked out a little script that pulls all the slurls from Torley's Flickr Photostream and puts them into 2 wikiTiPi packs:

Torley's Delight (Photos)
http://www.wikitipi.com/cgi-bin/wikipack.cgi?42

that contains *all* the most recent locations in the photostream (300 locations!)

Torley's Delight (Sims)
http://www.wikitipi.com/cgi-bin/wikipack.cgi?41

that only contains one location per sim (about 70 locations)

Copy and paste one of the links above to load the pack into your wikiTiPi HUD (which you can download at wikitipi.com).

I'll try and keep the packs synced with Torley's photostream updates even though it means I'll need to keep hitting a button.
