I briefly saw a Resident Survey dialog box but apparently accidentally clicked it away before I could even see what it was about.

Did anyone see a survery and if so what was it about?

I'm not sure if it's the same one, but I had a survey about a month ago. It seemed the questions were on how SL could be better for premium members and what would make residents want to become premium members more.

There was a survey in the last 10 days (if my memory serves me right) just as the log in screen opened and was asking if you talk/discuss/recommend SL to your friends in RL.

There were various answers like always, never so on and so on but I did the same as you, closed it before thoroughly reading it.

Shouldn't they do a survey about if anyone is able to do the surveys? ;)

I mean, on login, usually I don't even see their picture before I've typed my password and hit enter, rarely noticing a window popping up and disappearing from the black screen as my last login pic comes up!

I did the same thing. I hit enter and then saw the survey. By then it was too late.

Yes it was a survey "Would recommend SL to a friend and do you discuss Sl with friends" that sort of thing.

I have shortcuts with login details for my alts so I never even see the login screen. Maybe sending out an email to, say, residents who logged in during last week would produce better results for them...

I had one of those surveys’s few weeks back … this one was about “how you feel about SL and your experiences within SL” type thing. Nevertheless it was during the time when all the problems with login’s and TP’s were happening … I’m sure you can guess the answers I gave them … :)

I usually see the "Is your SL experience getting better or worse" question right when I am relogging after a crash. Can you guess which choice I pick in that scenario?

Considering LL's historical lack of response to resident feedback I always skip the surveys.

I've seen 2 surveys today, "would you recommend SL to a friend" and "is your SL experience improving". When they include comment boxes I take it upon myself to list everything that is wrong with SL regardless of the survey topic, although I run out of characters quickly so never get to finish the list. So now i'm sending it in instalments everytime I get a questionarie and label it p1, p2 etc and sign it in case they want to feedback to me or to personally thank me for being so gosh darn helpfull :)

That aside, my SL experience is getting better. It was f*cking terrible, but now it is only sh*t.

Do you mean the survey that was issued via email around Christmas time? That one, if memory serves correct, concerned Membership types and suggestions. I thought it quite interesting and important.

Surveys are actually a random chance every time you load the log in page.
LL never "sends out" surveys.

Here is the log in page used by the client: http://secondlife.com/app/login/

Just keep refreshing till you get a survey. It may take a while.

Not quite true. My alt got an invite to the survey the post above yours refers to. I agree, it was quite interesting, asking how important/not important one would rate various things to improve premium membership.
