Does a decent specced mac, running onrez, with mid range prefs, no video, and a fair bit of audio, and 24 hour usage with a decent amount of new rezzing places to go to for at least 8 hours of that use in a day? And if any UK'ers out there can tell me of a good TRULY unlimited (or very high allowance) ISP for fast broadband I would love them forever. BT Business Broadband just capped me from 6pm - 8am

BT Total Broadband - Option 3
8Mb speed..I checked mine and it was 7.8Mb (close enough) (assuming 8Mb is fast enough of course)
Unlimited downloads and usage
Unlimited WiFi usage
I have a few friends who regularly discuss the pros and cons of their broadband suppliers..Virgin..Tiscali..O2. They've all had problems of some kind at some time. I can honestly say that since I went for the above it's worked perfectly (2 years now). BT regularly up the speed at no extra cost every year or so.

That's what I am on and they capped me two weeks ago.
8 meg, drops down at low as 220 kb.

BT still advertises 'unlimited' downloads on option 3 on their website, I don't see how they can cap you. Think I'd query that one.

I spoke to a supervisor about as I was most upset, and seems unlimited is in provision of the service... and according to them I can still access the service so my unlimited "Access" is still there even if my speed is capped by them.
I am looking at Nildram, who offer a 100 Gig limit per month - but need to know what sort of levels the average- heavy user of SL can expect as throughput per day.
