Teleporting doesn't work. Searching doesn't work (either that or I don't exist, since I searched for myself to make sure I wasn't misspelling other people's names). It took three restarts to see my account balance despite that having apparently been "resolved".

It's not "resolved" at all. It's clear someone at LL made the problem go away *for them* and thinks that means we're all okay now. :(

It really is getting painful how often various bits stop working or bugs start causing havoc for people. Not to start the whole voice debate again, but that seems to have been roughly when SL jumped the shark in terms of usability.
The infrastructure doesn't seem to have been significantly reworked for a long long time, and it looks like it's just unable to cope with the number of users these days. Hence the database bugs like object permissions resetting, inventory loss, notecard problems etc. (My theory).
The slowdown problems recently are probably more hardware related, but I was hoping the hardware upgrade they went through a few months back would have helped there. But apparently not.
It's an age old cry but ... they really do need to start working on the basics and not new features. Havoc4 is going to be like painting a go faster stripe on a clapped out rust bucket at this rate.
