If I have a NVIDA video card 6150 will this cause me to crash every time I log in and load my inventory?

It should not cause crashes, just run very poorly. More likely something awful has happened to the cache. After you start SL, and before you login, clear the network cache by going to the edit menu, open preferences, then network and press the clear cache button and restart SL.

And while you have the preferences menu up at the log on screen, you might want to check your graphics settings and make sure they are turned down.

Your graphics chip is too weak for SL

If you look at this relative graphics card chart:

The 6150 is the 4th group from the bottom. The SL System requirements call for a 6600 as a minimum, which you will see listed several groups higher.

My Old computer had a card that was one step up from yours (Geforce 3 Ti 200), and it could barely run the old, pre-windlight graphics SL, on the very lowest settings.
