The house I both own and had mod rights on when I rezzed this copy has changed itself to no mod after I modded it and relinked it. How is this possible? Is there someway to change it back?
And why would it do this?
/me bangs head on screen....

Assuming this is the same issue that was the subject of this thread http://forums.secondlife.com/showthread.php?p=2184995
And assuming you still have another copy of the house...
I have a fix that has worked every time for me and my friends:
1. Rez the house, do not unlink it
2. Create a new prim
3. Link the new prim with the rest of the house, such that the new prim is a child In case you're not familiar, this means: First, select the new prim Then, holding shift, select the house Now, link them.
4. Unlink the whole set
After performing these steps I've come to expect that the unlink will occur without the inexplicable loss of permissions, and you could link them again. I don't understand why..

/me bangs head on screen.... Have you tried to mod a part since, have you tried unlinking it again? maybe the part you modded was no mod and after linking it would say the whole house could not be modified even though it possibly can.

Nuuuu, that's not it. Everything I added in the mod was created by my own little grubby hands. Nothing was no mod...unless it unmodded itself. o.0 The house is showing as Mod, Copy, No Trans to the Next Owner. Can I sell it to my alt, and buy it back again with full perms? (do I live in the Twilight Zone?) (don't answer that....) Oh no, nevermind...I just read what I wrote. pfft.

Thanks everyone....I rezzed another copy of my house in a public sandbox, and it still has full perms, so once I calm down (hush!) I'll replace the old house and go from there.
Further and further down the rabbit hole I go...
Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy at least. 0.o
Jeez...
