I haven't used Blender in a little while, but I updated to version 2.48a before taking some time off. Now that I want to get back at it, I'm finding when I create a mesh from Domino's scripts..there are alot more options and the mesh that is created is not a 1024 vertice mesh. A cylinder for example now only has 16 faces and ghost shapes underneath. I played with Apply Multirez and added levels, but I'm not absolutely sure they have 1024 vertices. I can see what I call ghosts under the lines the lines. When I closed the last ring of vertices on the cylinder, I see a ghost curved cylinder end.
What is happening and what do I do about it?
Ok.. I just deselected and found out the ghost image is the actual solid mesh. Before the update, closing (scale 0) the ends of a cylinder resulted in 90° ends, but now they are rounded.
