Hey guys, I'm stumped. I am trying to change the interior color/texture of one of my rooms...I'm selecting edit linked parts, select texture and then the texture out of my textures. All of that works fine, but just on one wall, when I select, the texture and color is right, but the repeats revert back. So I go in and manually change the number of repeats per face and per meter, offset---but they still revert back. That one wall, looks totally different than the others. Any ideas?

Yes, it is modifiable, it takes the color and texture ok, just the repeats won't...also, the other three walls went with no problem :(

I have had this problem when using the sliders for repeats. I found it works ok when I enter the numbers via the keyboard, have you tried that?

Yep, tried both ways, via sliders and keyboard, still reverts back...strange :(

Thanks for the suggestions Atom & Derek. Any other ideas?

If you can copy it, take a copy of the wall and see if it works. I had one prim that for some reason would NOT allow me to deed it to group, even though I had created it, gave it full perms so my main could work with it and all that. Turns out one of the perms the "transfer" was checked.. but it was also dark, even after I had checked the copy on and off a couple of times. I simply deleted the thing after a copy proved I couldn't repair it.

Could there be a script in that wall that might be preventing the repeats?

sometimes unlinking the errant prim then texturing it then relinking it helps.

This is a weirdo bug thats been around off an on for years. I find its usually more noticable on heavy lag days. :P

sometimes prims properties get corrupted, also called 'prim rot' and can cause any number of similar wierd glitches... if de/relinking doesn't work, sometimes the only thing to do is completely replace the offending prim. used to see it alot with certain linked prims becoming phantom for no good reason (and people getting mad about falling out of their skyboxes)

The other possibility is a poor connection/high packet loss. I've had similar experiences at times of bad packet loss.
