What languages does SL translate to English via IM? How well do they work?

i don't think it translates any..i think you need to have one of the translators that are in sl to have that happen..

"None" is the correct answer - I have used Babelfish but hate it.
If you want to test it try saying something and then translating it back to your language.
It's decent for initial contact and to establish that you don't speak their language but for anything more subtle or meaningful, it's useless, as far as I am concerned.

None of the translators available work on IMs, anyway, only chat. So true. If you want to add a whole 'nother layer of misunderstanding to a relationship, try running it through either Babelfish or Google translation! As funny as a barrel of monkeys!
