I crashed in this sim that was lagging really bad. Now when i try to get back in the loading screen comes on, but just says at loading then eventually stops and says "login failed"
i have tried clearing cache
i have resarted my computer
i have reinstalled the viewer
i have tried to use a lesser version
none of these have worked
it says the grid is online

see if you can get a friend to IM your AV. Sometimes that clears up the login failed thing. Assuming you have a friend you can get ahold of outside of game or an alt that can log in.

Secondlife is having issues atm... things are problematic rezzing items inworld and opening notecards and textures etc, as well as not being able to log in... This is the latest from them:
[04.55 AM ] We are seeing problems with many residents unable to log in. This may be related to the previous problems with packet loss and teleports, but we are not sure at this point. We are working to restore logins for everyone and will report our findings when we have a clear picture on the situation. _____________________

I haven't been inworld today, but have you tried relogging in a different sim? When I can't get in at home, Pooley usually works for me. You didn't mention it in the things you tried, so I thought it was worth a shot.

If you still can't, and have an alt you can use, go to where your character was when you last logged out/crashed. Your av could possibly be stuck in-world, though usually that won't say 'login falied' it'll say 'account unavailable until XX.XX.XX.XX on XX/XX/XXXX'

I can get back on. I went to sleep. I turned my computer back on and put on SL and it works.
I didnt get any IMs so they must of been capped. Im glad it is just tuesday, no sl work till thursday-sunday. thanks all, take care |
