I was looking at the information about the newest "optional verision" 1.18.3.2
and I don't understand when features are worth updating or not.
I was looking at this list of bug fixes and truthfully I don't understand the features.
Then one feature was it disables short cut key to client menu which I use often it doesn't explain how to enable it.
Can someone here who is smart enough to enlighten me about the newest versions and when to update please advise me?

Without going into long drawn out detail.. the new Candidate client has some elements of improvements (according to the list supplied), yet things like:

1) It installs into a new folder, therefore does not use your preferences, which you have to reset all over again, and get the newcomer drop boxes (you have clicked the left mouse button....)
2) Nothing seems to be sticky anymore, so continously resetting your chat, inventory windows will become a pain. Inventory defaults to putting folders in standard format.
3) There are some 'experimental' debug features, although some are useless, and one isn't evoked.
4) I didn't notice any gains like, stability, faster rendering, Dual Core freezing problem resolved, voice working for longer and better, memory leaks still apparent.

Guess the 'gains' are superficial and not on the surface. When I compared it to the standard client, I could see nothing that would make me think this was an upgrade.
