I will admit up front to being somewhat tipsy right now so if I make a typo please forgive me. It seems that lately we have been riddled with so many problems that I thought it worth a post to say that tonight reminded me of what sl is all about and why I love it so much.

First, I don't know what happened but the performance tonight everywhere I went was the best it was for a long time, at least for me, maybe the best since i started in February, seriously, I checked my chat log before logging out, 17:04 to 1:21, not one crash since I got home from work, over 8 hours. I was in places all night that have been notoriously bad for lag and crashes for me in the past, including the Gardens of Acropolis (lots of time spent there with a very special lady friend tonight :-)). For the first time in ages I was able to enjoy sl without performance and stability issues getting in the way, it was such a wonderful feeling.

Now, I can only hope that this has something to do with recent updates and was not just a random blip on the radar.

Does anyone else have good experiences to report tonight or was I just lucky?

Actually I had a surprisingly lag free night as well. Boxes opened quickly, contents into the inventory snappily, no hair up my butt while teleporting... not too bad =)

What was the peak concurrency last night? Anyone know? Say from 5pm to 10pm SLT..

I was able to get on late, but it was a most lovely evening with everything going right!
Thank you so much SL!

ohs kay.

I had a terrible night. My doughnut roller coaster car kept falling into the ground for no apparent reason. Or it would fly off its tracks for no apparent reason. I gave up after relogging a couple of times, and went out to the RL.

I'm not techsmart, so maybe it was just my sim?

It ran good for me too, except for once. I was at home cleaning out my inventory and all the sudden I recieved a message that the server stopped responding and I wasn't allowed to take something. Suddenly the mini map turned all red and everything started blinking around me.Scary moment.:o I logged out and back in,all was well again. The rest of the night was great!
