I am looking for a nice quiet info hub to set as home untill the sim i usually rent from is back up and running in a few weeks. I have tried, degrand, Barcola, Moose beach, the hotel one, and Ahern, but they are all busy lag fests with lots fo griefers.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about a nice one that is not to busy. I am not sure how to find them in world

Search for Infohub in SL's all search, then click on the Wiki link, it'll give you a list of all the infohubs. Unfortunately it's not up to date. Some of the first generation infohubs listed are no longer active.

I just got music set up again at Ambat, and put a SyncDancer and a solo dancer there. We had a blast yesterday! Ambat a very small and has its regulars. It gathers some crude people, too, but it's a great place for all that.

The ones at Bay City didn't seem *too* bad.
You can also join the Forum Cartel group, and then you can wear your group tag and set home outdoors on their land. (Both are in search.)
SL Botanical Gardens also allows this.

why do you want to set home at an infohub?
there are enough other places where you can set home, provided you are a group member. starboards yacht club comes to mind.

if you are PIU or adult verified you could try the zindra infohubs, especialy the "safe"infohub out in the ocean, not sure what it's name is but it's far enough away from the land mass to be relative low lag and griefer free because no unvers can come there.

The Zindra offshore infohub is Arapaima. Not a bad choice; not much to do there, but rarely crowded and you're unlikely to be hassled by anybody if you happen to show up naked (even though nudity is forbidden in all infohubs). Otherwise I'd second the vote for Iris: it's a pretty build and there's stuff to do around there.

Hyannisport is a good one, and if you need a spot to rez things and open boxes, just fly straight out from the beach and go to the ocean floor on the adjacent sim.

From: Melita Magic The ones at Bay City didn't seem *too* bad. They've both gotten nicer since the hub code got fixed a few months ago, and I tend to hang out at them now and then. Still some issues, but not as bad as they were. But I believe the OP mentioned both of these in the first, though seeing Hau Koda as "the hotel" one as opposed to an airport terminal.

Last time I checked, few months ago, Hyles wasn't quiet at all. It used to be 'just a rock' and was my assigned home on leaving Orientation Island. Now, it's a busy hub filled with people, freebies, stores, and.........people. It was packed when I was there.

You'll have to join their groups (at least long enough to set home initially; if you then leave the group the home position stays set), but I can recommend both Caledon Oxbridge and NCI as comfortable places to rez.

Large parts of Zebrasil are largely deserted. I do my part to keep it that way by bouncing the store bots into the nearby lagoon Mauve has an infohub adjacent to the sandbox that's pretty much unused, though not very attractive. I would have said Castle Valeria, but it has been taken over in the past month by a very annoying family of vampires. That was my favorite rez spot, alas!
