Non-members on group restricted parcels?

Hello All,

I noticed one of the sims I attend which is restricted to group members has had a couple people who are not members wandering around the group areas.

Short of just banning everyone who does this, is there any fix for whatever this apparent loophole is? The area is no entry for non-members for sure.

Is your area high in the sky? I have an area that is group members only and its up in the sky and it doesnt matter non members are still found up there. We had to get a security orb so only group members are allowed.. I think ban lines only go up 50M or so. Something LL did and didn't let anyone in on.

No it's on ground level. they also seem to be immune to being ejected according to one of the Moderators.

I just remembered once, I was trying to eject someone who was tossing fireballs around my sim, scaring newbies. Eject didn't work, ban didn't work, freeze didnt' work, nothing worked. Suddenly, they all worked, together. He was gone and banned. Lag. Iv'e only had to eject someone a very few times and each time, it never happened quickly, was always 'in a minute'.

I wonder how they are sneaking around the boundaries. This is not fun to police. I really don't want to make a age restricted parcel.

Is the sim attached to another sim? Odds are pretty good that they are using some sort of combat gadget that displaces the actual avatar, so they may be far underground or somewhere off to one side, in another sim.

You could try restricting the running of scripts only to group members, and prohibiting object entry from other parcels...

one of the mods thinks maybe the asset server is strained. After this incident there was a linden controlled av on the sim.

They could be using offset animations?
