Realistic skins adult or mature?

Does anyone know where realistic skins will be sold?

Will stores located in a mature land still be allowed to sell and show nude images of their realistic skins or would these need to be moved to the adult land?

We're told that skins can stay on mature land, as long as the posters are the usual sort that show up in skin shops =)

The "Photorealistic" Adult Content comments that Blondin has clarified so far has been in regards to actual full body photographs of real people. Avatar nudity, in context, is non-sexual and suitable for Mature land. (^_^)

So, even if it's a realistic ruddy skin or photosourced. As long as it's applied to an avatar and posed for modeling purposes, I'm sure it's not AC/AR bait. (^_^)

To me, the gray area would be a tasteful nude art photo, or something of the sort. Which can be called "photorealistic" and get the attention of a ratings-jumpy knee-jerk Linden. But, surely an AR that can be disputed. (^_^)y

I wonder if avatars can walk around in see thru tops for instance?

I'd call that partial nudity. It's a gray area for PG that I tread on all the time. (^_^)y

I have already seen skin shops that airbrush out the "naughty" bits on their posters. I think this is being overly cautious. Presumably you get to see the entire skin by getting a demo.

It's not a problem for me personally. It was a just a general question on how strict are the rules.

Is it really going to be this strict? I mean I am usually starkers on my own land. My sl partner has seen me naked and I dont go wandering around with my boobs showing when I do go out. Surely any vigilante who tries "I-Spy" is more in danger of invading privacy than I am of nudity. How on earth will Lindens police this?? Will they offer rewards to catch offenders?

There is a lot of gray area around clothing. How much can something be sheer or see-through? Is it exposed nipple that matters or does a slight slip of areola cross the line? Thong or butt cleavage over low rise jeans? Do men and boys have to wear shirts because they have nipples too? How far can a middriff outfit go? Can lingerie be exposed? Heck! Is an exposed belly button even acceptable?! (O.o)

These are all things unanswered and it seems to be left up to us to decide by using Abuse Reports. (=_=)

My usual hangout is a PG sandbox and I'm often used as ~the~ example of the PG limit. If someone's wearing less than me, they've crossed the line. That said, I'm sure I cross the line on other people. But, it's their own personal line. To each their own. (=_=)y

Yeah, and the faces have to be in silhouette and you have to file a sworn affidavit for each vendor texture you want to view. I saw it in some group chat so it has to be true.

Re the see-through clothing - unless I missed something, nude beaches are considered mature, as long as they don't have sex poseballs around.

So walking around in see-through clothing is, at best, mature, and certainly not adult.

Going naked in your own home in SL is most definitely not considered Adult. It's non-sexual and it's being done on what LL considers "private property".

And to the OP - I agree with others, based on what I have read - skin stores showing non-sexual pictures of their skins (i.e. not engaging in some obvious sexual act) are Mature, not Adult.
