Terrain texture changes?

Tonight the terrain textures in some sims have changed. I went to Goguen Sandbox and it's now grey rock, while my home sim of Yosu has gone from rough patchy grass to nice lush green grass. I logged out and in again twice to check and it's still nice and green.

I'm not complaining, I like it and it's probably increased the value of my land 10 times :D :D so I hope it's permanent. Has anyone else noticed?

Are you using RC4? That is one of the known issues, particularly on some Intel Macs. Only the "high" texture is showing on those.

I'm on the RC 1.20 viewer - but it was showing normal textures until today.

I'm seeing the rock in Goguen with RC4, but the sickly sandy grass with 1.19.1.4, so it does seem to be that bug.

I've just logged in with the normal viewer and my grass is back to rough patchy :(

So it must be the bug and my land hasn't increased in value!!

Known issue:

On MacBook Air notebooks, only the High Terrain Texture ground texture displays. The other 3 Terrain Textures in the Region/Estate dialog’s Ground Textures tab do not display.
There's that in the release notes of 1.20 RC4.

You can use World / Region and look at the ground textures for that sim to see if you're suffering from that bug and probably best to JIRA it if you're on a different puter to make sure they know it doesn't affect just those notebooks.
