I purchased a garden emiter called Field of Dreams. Rezzed it on my roof...it took OVER and I can't shut it down??
I have tried using the "take" command and the "touch" command on the emiter and it disappears but the flowers do not - they are particles and when I select Hide Particles I can't see them but everyone else can...
Heeeelllllpppp!

Hello, Geronimo, welcome to the forums!
Yes, Field of Dreams is a prolific little bugger, innit? I'm a little puzzled that you had to pay for it ... *looks suspiciously at the Field of Dreams freebie she owns, wondering if it's an ancient example of stolen content*
Anyway, try this: Pulldown the View menu, and choose "View Transparencies". Everything that is transparent will show up sort of glowing red. You should see a cube or sphere or something that's emitting the flowers --- take or delete that, and the particles will fade away quickly.

Field of Dreams is a marvelous creation. All the more marvelous considering it is free.
I think its more then unfair to libel it with the thread title ""Field of Dreams" is a nightmare - help!!" when really the fault for the problem you experiences was your own lack of experience.
Did you get the complete "Field of Dreams" set with control panel or just one of the plant emitters? As I recall it had instructions with it.
