Happening here too. Just had a customer pay one of my vendors twice without receiving the item.. scary thing is, MY transaction history shows her paying me THREE times... I told her to get back to me tomorrow and we'd sort this all out once the transaction history and soforth was working properly again.

(thankfully she understood)

SL is telling her that the money has been returned to her.. and yet obviously it hasn't been.. and SL *ISn"T* showing that any money has been removed from my account. This smells of "Broken".

Another annoyance... things I deleted from my inventory an hour ago, have returned.

Good day to do photoshop work.

Thank you for the heads-up.

This happened to my alt 3 times last week, 2 of which was in the same store - 2 different days. These were Transfer/No Copy items and thankfully the owner sent me the items the next day each time. As for the 2nd shop owner, replied but didn't deliver.

Apparently a blog entry just got posted. I've been busy going around and covering up all my vendors with a "Temporarily Closed" sign.

:sigh:

I parked my butt on the porch of my store, so I can personally greet potential customers as they arrive. Guess they could look around, but it takes forever to disable all the vendors.

They put a message on in-world.

"Second Life: Please check http://blog.secondlife.com for an update on in world services. Do not conduct Land or L$ Transactions until you see an all clear message on our blog post."

They haven't done an inworld all-clear yet.. or if they have, it hasn't reach my distant corner...

blog said it, but i found upon reactivating my main vends that the timeout was still happening, so i shut 'em down again. i relogged (this may help?) and tried my workbench test vend, and (although slower than usual) is responding. gonna continue testing till i feel it really -is- all clear then reactivate...

p.s. even affected person-to-person transactions, so was a very 'deep' lag, affecting all basic transactions too...

p.p.s. my workbench may have worked, but my mains are still timing out. :(

gosh now you got me worried. i was like hyperactively trying to buy something, clicking on it again and again and always getting the transfer stale thingy. just tried to look at my account transaction history to see if i got deducted for all of that and that says second life is offline o.0
anyway i dont want to be broke:((

In real life.. when you put a dollar in a coke machine and you don't get a coke.. do you put another dollar in, and another and another and another?

(I ask, because someone was in my shop earlier doing the exact same thing.. and I'm just really curious why in Sl people will pay a "failing" vendor several times, when if it happened in real life they'd never pay twice, much less 5 times).

Not only is the money transfer borked..but the chat server is as well. Everytime someone sends a mssg in one of the groups, I get a chat error message and then the group chat window disappears.

I think it's time for me to just go play with some textures or a xanax or something...
