I think Owenimations and Abranimations both have such devices, and probably some other animation vendors.

any of the chimera or similar type products that trigger animation loops in sequence do this... usually this means one script per person (to handle permissions on an ongoing basis) and a control script to tell them which animation to play. if you look around a few dance machines and floors do this also. the best ones enable scripts on a perperson basis, so no extra lag from having 100 possible people. if it isn't listed as a feature choose the smallest number that's still likely to give you enough room to add your expected amount of dancers

Huddles allows up to (I think) 15 people to join in your dance.
It includes a dance ball you may edit and move to your ass, your head, above your head, or wherever you like.
If you don't like the idea of people spanking you to dance, Huddles allows personal invitations.
Something of a steep learning curve for Huddles but for my money it's hands-down the best animation engine of the bunch and the choice of professional SL dancers.

Got to agree with the above Huddles Rocks- i didnt find it hard to use or load my dances into, ive also added other things to it (baby animationslike rocking etc), for the money (i know its NOT cheap) its versatile and professional Fai x
