Selling Lindens - Can You Do Them With A Basic Account?

My question (obviously) is whether I can sell L$ with a Basic Account. I set up a Billing Agreement with SL through PayPal and I'm not quite sure what that means. Will I be charged for a Premium Account even though I didn't sign up for it?

All I want to do is SELL L$ and not buy L$ or sign up for a Premium Account. However, the LindeX Billing and Selling limits says that I have to have a billing transaction before I can sell. Does this mean I have to sign up for a Premium Account or buy L$?

Any help on this is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,

I have read somewhere someone was flagged by the API risk because
they didn't have credit card on record, never bought Lindens and something else.
I don't know how do you get Lindens to sell only?

I have a Basic Account, and I sell the L$ that I earn in profits from my texture sales and other in-world business ventures on a regular basis. No problem with doing that at all.

I virtually never buy L$ any more, as I earn far more L$ than I need to spend. But I can buy them too, without being a Premium member.

FD, it's quite simple - you earn them! People can earn money in SL doing a variety of things that cost very little up front.

LL changed their trading limits policy a few months back, so now new accounts must make ANY kind of billing transaction before their limits start going up. Because the selling limit starts at $0, this means you can't sell on the Lindex until two weeks after you pay something into LL.

But I do mean ANY billing transaction. It is sufficient to buy a mere $1 of lindens. Once you do that, your "limits clock" starts ticking, and two weeks later you will be allowed to sell on the Lindex. :)

How do you earn enough Lindens to sell legitimately having only an account a couple days/weeks old?

I can understand WHY you'd trip the fraud prevention alarms.

Forum join date is not SL join date, that avatar was born in August. But the trading clock does start with the first billing activity, no matter when one joined.
