Bug, or Merry Xmas to me?

I rarely check forums or read those little clicky blog updates that are on the start screen, but I did notice something that I was confused by. Every month, right on the nosey, my tier for my mainland is taken out from the same source, which hasnt changed in a very long time. This month, however, it wasn't. I checked all my statements from all my funding sources just to be sure I didn't completely flake out and had forgotten I had changed it, but... yeah. It wasn't billed. It also reads that my tier is due next month on it's usual date under my account info. Is this a bug? Or is it a very merry xmas gift to an old SL player who just adoressss getting a freebie month of tier? *snorts* As much as I want to not say anything about the freebie, I know better lol. Plus I dont want to get double billed next month when I'm not expecting it, so I guess that's why I'm asking if it -is- a bug, a promotion, or an issue that some other residents might have experienced in the past week. thanksss

I'm assuming you're logged in here so go to the main page that should now show you details (click on the Second Life logo at the top of this page).

Click account history, this will show any payments you've made, if you see nothing for this month, or if you see a figure in red, file a support ticket asap. May be worth talking to concierge chat if you have you concierge level support.

If they notice and you're sufficiently past due they'll just suspend your account until you sort everything out and then you get to wait for LL to get around to reinstating your account.

I'd just open a ticket (or call billing) and try to find out what went wrong, unless your tier was due 2-3 days ago in which case you might want to wait a few days longer and see if it doesn't sort itself out (do keep an eye on your US$ balance because you won't always get told when it fails; if it turns negative just use "Increase your credit" to pay what you owe).
